Rug-Cleaning-in-Milton-KeynesSo please – call for a price. We’ll need to know the size of your rug, its make, age, approximately when it was last cleaned and the condition it is in, i.e. moderately dirty, very dirty, or just in need of a spruce-up. Once you have your price and are happy, we will pick up your precious rug and deliver it back to you beautifully clean and ready for many more years service.

As for the more widely used and not-so-expensive rugs, which tend to be synthetic and therefore more easily cleaned, Stardust will be pleased to give you a price for on-site cleaning.Guide prices are as follows (subject to site of actual rug):

Rugs Small  (size up to 6 x 4 feet 180 x 120cm)     £45
Rugs Large  (size up to 8 x 6 feet 240 x 210cm)     £75

TIP:  Don’t shampoo natural fibre rugs!

Rugs become a trap for all kinds of dirt, dust, allergens and debris, which lodges deep in the pile and can’t be removed by conventional vacuuming. Some rug owners have made the huge mistake of washing their rug with shampoo, this turns the dirt into sticky ‘mud’, which adheres to the pile, discolours the wool and becomes virtually impossible to remove.

So if your rug is looking dull and lifeless, hand it over to the professionals!
