Carpet Protection and Fabric Protection
Protection against soil, stains, spills and oils. Safe for people and pets.
In recent years, carpet manufacturers have begun applying a carpet protector treatment as standard practice, so if you bought a new carpet 3-4 years ago, it may be time to renew its protective layer…
Our professional quality, odourless fluoro-polymer carpet and fabric protector coats and protects fibres against water and oil based spillages. It contains a stain blocker additive, which eases the removal of food colourings and dye-based stains.
FLUOROSEAL – How does it work?
A carpet and fabric protector is applied immediately after your carpets and upholstery have been cleaned. The treatment acts like a non-stick pan – once applied, dust, dirt and grime find it almost impossible to stick to the fluoropolymer-protected fibres. Dust and dirt are easily vacuumed, spills tend to stay on the surface of the carpet or fabric, rather than soak down into the fibres, which makes them quick and easy to mop up.
The protective treatment can stay active for between 3-4 years, and will take one or two hot water extractor cleans before it needs reapplying. Your treated carpets and fabric will stay cleaner for up to three times longer than untreated carpets and upholstery.
But doesn’t this mean less work for Stardust? Yes, but it also means a happier customer who will tell friends and family how great we are, so everybody is happy!
Insurance Claim versus Fluoroseal Carpet and Fabric Protector
Consider how much your home (or business) insurance excess is – anything from £100 upwards. If you are unlucky enough to have a nasty spill and have to make a claim, your monthly insurance premium will almost certainly rise too. A protective treatment could save you from all that stress.
